25 different tool types are manufactured and stocked in more than 3000 different tool holder performances.

Tool holders are offered for external parting-off and grooving, internal grooving as well as for face grooving.

Mircona parting-off and grooving tools in CAPTO^®-performance

Mircona will upon request as special purpose tool, manufacture the range of parting-off and grooving tools in CAPTO^®-performance.

Manufacturing and marketing of this range on CAPTO®-tools is regulated by a licence from Sandvik Coromant. Mircona tools in CAPTO^®-performance are thus completely interchangeable with Coromant CAPTO^®.

The Mircona range on parting-off and grooving inserts comprehends more than 600 stocked items including inserts for relief grooves, circlip grooves, O-ring grooves, full-radius grooves and also blanks that can be ground to desired shape.

Specialised insert geometries for parting-off, sideways turning and profiling are being offered for a number of different workpiece materials.

The inserts are available in uncoated as well as a number of CVD and PVD-coated carbide grades, in ceramics, PCD and PCBN.
