The FLEXODRILL drill holder can be programmed to the required angle in a CNC machines control system. Using the same drill and drill holder holes can be drilled at different angles and in varied directions.

Operating guide: When the drill is located into the centring hole it is then manoeuvred sideways to the required drilling angle. A universal joint in the holder transfers the circular motion from the machine to the now angled drill holder. Feed advance is effected through two axes. FLEXODRILL will return to it's initial position when the drill is free of the hole.
Normally the drills length (C) should not protrude from the collet more than 15 times the drill diameter. The drill can protrude as much as 20 times the drill diameter if the feed rate is reduced and the material is suitable.
